  • 3ce3b0035f ShadowCasting2D: Further ray reduction There are two main goals and one minor. 1. Skip approximately half the rays using edge normals, can then identify edges facing away. 2. Skip 1/3 of the remaining rays by identifying in what direction the edge vector is from the vertex. Only the vertex and the away from edge rays are traced. 3.
